87/2022 - Information on the concluding of a significant contract by Trakcja S.A.

The Management Board of Trakcja S.A. (the “Company”,  “Issuer”) hereby informs that Trakcja S.A. has concluded  a contract, to which the following are parties: the Company as the contractor and PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. as the contracting entity, for the designing and performance of an expansion of the rail system at the Biała Podlaska Station and Młaszewicze Station within the framework of the following project: “Work on the E20 railroad , Siedlce – Terespol segment, Phase III  -LCS Terespol” (the “Contract”). The concluding of this contract is the result of selecting the Company’s bid as the most advantageous offer presented in an unrestricted tender.  

The net value of the contract amounts to PLN 109.565.476.62; the conditional net sum under this Contract amounts to PLN 13,621,312.87. The work is to be completed within 24 months from the date of commencement of work, i.e. from the next day following the concluding of the Contract.
The remaining terms and conditions of the Contract do not differ from the terms and conditions generally applied for such contracts.

The Issuer’s Management Board has reached a decision for publishing this information, as the performance of the foregoing investment task constitutes an important share in the contract portfolio performed by the Company; it also bears an impact on the maintenance of current and increase of future revenues and performance of the Company; it additionally concerns important national infrastructure of loading goods in international transport.
