The Poznań - Czempiń contract signed
The work to be performed by Trakcja PRKiI S.A. under the contract concluded with PKP PLK S.A for upgrading a fragment of the Railway Line E-59 connecting Poznań with Wrocław is worth net over PLN 173 million.
"For a few weeks we have been ready and prepared to start work. We have the construction site office already organized, foremen designated and construction materials and equipment prepared – says Jaroslaw Tomaszewski, President of Trakcja PRKiI SA. By this agreement, we secure the portfolio of contracts for the next year. Over the last 3 months, we signed contracts for nearly 600 million PLN for the company and for more than one billion PLN at the level of Grupa Trakcja".
The contract includes a comprehensive upgrade of the section Poznan – Czempiń. As part of the task, the railway line will be adjusted to the speed of 160 km/h, together with elements of solutions for the speed of 200 km/h. The project involves track-related work with subgrade and surface of crossings, disassembly of overhead lines, and electric power infrastructure and drainage work. The work will also include the modernization and construction of civil structures and reconstruction of access roads.
