Another contract completed
Trakcja has completed another contract – it is a contract concerning the renovation of the A5 Ursynów Metro Substation.
The contract in question in its scope included the exchange of a ten-field direct current switchgear (DCS), return cable cabinet (RCC) and three types of trackside cabinets: TNS [Traction Network Switchboard], BDC [Busbar Disconnector Cabinet] and IISSC [Insulating Insert Short-circuit Devices Cabinet] in the total quantity of 14 pieces. In the first phase of the contract, the necessary equipment was manufactured, whereby it is worth to note that some of the switchgears were manufactured in our Industrial Manufacturing Branch, where we manufacture direct current switchgears for railways, trams and trolleybuses. In the second phase, the first direct current switchgear section was shut down. For that time, the second section took over part of the power supply, which contributed to a temporary increase of the loads on the neighboring substations. In the next phase, we shut down the second section, while the first section carried out power supply. In the final phase, we conducted local and remote control tests.
The contractual term for the performance of the works, that is 30 November of this year, has been met. The value of the contract amounted to PLN 3,017,798.15.
