Kauno Tiltai with new contract

On December 5, 2022, the company Kauno Tiltai belonging to Trakcja Group signed a contract with the Lithuanian Road Administration for construction work on a section of the highway as a part of the project titled "Reconstruction of the A5 Kaunas - Marijampolė - Suwałki section."

The contractor will be required to reconstruct a 6-kilometer section of the highway, upgrade nearly 7 km of lighting network and 5 km of drainage networks and facilities. In addition, the Company will reconstruct national roads No. 5107 Vilkaviškis - Kalvarii and No. 200 Kalvarija - Gražiškiai - Vištytis, along with engineering facilities.

The net value of the concluded Contract is close to EUR 56 million, i.e. about PLN 260 million.
A contingent amount has also been secured for additional works not covered by the subject of the order, but which may arise during the execution of the task, at a level of up to 10% of the value of the Contract, i.e. up to more than EUR 5.5 million, or nearly PLN 26 million.
The work is to be completed within 10 months from the effective date of the Contract, i.e. after the Contract is signed by both parties and after the Contractor provides a collateral for the proper performance of the Contract, and the Ordering Party obtains a construction permit.
