Industrial Production Branch certified!

The Industrial Production Branch of Trakcja S.A. successfully underwent an external certification audit of the Factory Production Control (ZKP) system on 21 June 2022. The certificate confirms compliance with the requirements of the PN-EN 1090 standard in the area of design, manufacture and assembly of steel structures, including their anti-corrosion protection. In addition, it confirms that the Industrial Production Branch has met the guidelines of the Quality Management System in Welding according to the requirements of the PN-EN ISO 3834-2 standard at the highest level.

Certification of the Factory Production Control system according to PN-EN 1090 is required for all manufacturers of steel and aluminium constructions who wish to place their products on the European Union (EEA) market.

The PN-EN 1090 standard divides structures into four classes: EXC1, EXC2, EXC3, EXC4, where EXC1 is the lowest class of construction and EXC4 is the highest class. The implemented and certified Factory Production Control (ZKP) system enables the Industrial Production Branch to carry out conformity assessment and award the 'CE' mark to a product in classes EXC1 to EXC3 inclusive. Thus, OPP Trakcja S.A. can apply for new orders within the EU for the design, manufacture and assembly of load-bearing structures such as:

- footbridges for pedestrians and cyclists

- bridges, viaducts, road and railway overpasses

- movable structures

- towers and masts such as antenna structures

- crane tracks

- cylindrical towers such as steel chimneys

The implementation of the requirements of the PN-EN ISO 3834 standard by the Industrial Production Department enables the control of all stages of welding production, from the review of the customer's requirements through production to the drawing up of the correct as-built documentation for the welded components. As a result of full control of the production stages on which the quality of welded joints decisively depends, we obtain high-quality constructions that meet the Customer's requirements.
