We will build an overpass in Skarżysko-Kamienna
On 11 February 2021, an contract was signed between Trakcja S.A. and the District of Skarżysko-Kamienna, represented by the District Road Authority.
The subject matter of the contract is extension of the transport system along with construction of an overpass over the railway tracks in Skarżysko-Kamienna. The contract will be performed as a part of the investment project entitled: “Construction of an integrated circulation system involving reconstruction of the existing circulation system along with construction of a structure for crossing the railway line no. 8 between Warsaw and Cracow and for connect the Dolna Kamienna residential district with the Przydworcowe residential district in Skarżysko-Kamienna.” The gross value of the contract is PLN 34,785,816.31 and its completion date has been scheduled for 31 December 2022.
The contracted scope of works includes in particular construction of an overpass over the railway tracks, expansion of the circulation system - Piłsudskiego Avenue in the section from Tysiąclecia Państwa Polskiego Avenue to the area of Towarowa Street along with the intersections with Tysiąclecia Państwa Polskiego Avenue, with Niepodległości Avenue by building a turbo roundabout, and with Towarowa Street. As a part of the planned works, Trakcja S.A. will build roadways, bus lanes, sidewalks, a pedestrian and bicycle path, plant beds, and individual and public exits. Storm water drainage and street lighting will be extended. The following facilities will be reconstructed, among others: the water supply system, the power supply system, the sanitary sewer system, and the telecommunication facilities.

The completion of the contracted works will once again prove that Trakcja has the right capabilities for performance of complex, multi-discipline infrastructure projects and will strengthen the position of our company as a trusted business partner for local government units,” commented the company’s representative Adam Stolarz, Member of the Management Board and Key Account Director.
